Happy New Year! 

I can't believe it's already 2021! We all have to admit that 2020 was a doozy; last year saw so many changes for me personally and for everyone else in the world. Words that we weren't yet accustomed to became very familiar: COVID-19, quarantine, and social distancing, to name a few. Practices such as wearing masks and not being able to hug friends made us feel disconnected.

Partway through 2020, I realized that I really needed to make some changes. I chose to cut back on my number of photo sessions due to both the uncertainty of the pandemic as well as some personal health issues I was facing. I also started focusing more on learning new techniques and practicing new editing skills. What I discovered during this process surprised me. I found that I didn't want to focus on doing portrait photography anymore. Although I have loved capturing special moments over the past 12 years, it's time for me to move on to something new. 

I am excited to announce my new position as an Executive Assistant at J.L. Howeth PC! While my business has slowed down, Jeff's has become even busier, so it makes sense for me to jump in and help. I'm discovering new things while using my computer/photography skills to update our website and learn aerial photography. 

I will still be taking sunrise and sunset pics, and I am planning on keeping my Instagram feed full of pretty pictures. If you're not following me yet, it's time to start! I will be taking a break from Facebook, so don't be surprised if you don't see me there!

Thank you for being supportive of my small business for 12 years! I will miss meeting new clients as well as seeing regular clients, who have become my friends.
